6. Cleaning and maintenance

6.1 Safety advice

o Before beginning with repair or cleaning works make sure the device has been
disconnected from power supply and has cooled down.
o Do not use any acid agents and make sure no water ingresses the device.
o To protect yourself from electric shock, never immerse the device, its cables and
the plug in water or other liquids.
CAUTION!
The device is not suited for direct washing via water jets.
Therefore, you must not use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!

6.2 Cleaning

o Clean the device thoroughly after the working day.
o Disconnect the device from the socket (pulling the plug!).
o Remove the food products from the show-case and place them in the refrigerator in
order to keep them fresh.
o The refrigerated show-case interior, the operational surface, the front glass, the side
glasses and the shelf should be washed periodically with use of soft cloth and
disinfecting agent certified for the food industry.
o In order to facilitate cleaning remove the sliding glass doors. Clean the doors with
use of appropriate cleaning agent and soft cloth and dry thoroughly.
o Wash the exterior of the device with use of soft cloth soaked in warm water with
gentle cleaning agent.
o All cleaned surfaces should be rinsed with clean water in order to remove all
residuals of the washing agents.
o Never use aggressive cleaning agents, such as scouring powders, alcohol-based
substances, or solvents which may damage the surfaces of the device.
o Dry the device thoroughly. Dry and polish the surfaces with soft, dry cloth.
If the refrigerated showcase is not used for longer time:
disconnect the device from the socket (pulling the plug!);
remove all food products;
clean the interior and exterior of the refrigerated showcase according
to the instructions above;
rinse the device with clean water and dry thoroughly;
leave the sliding glass doors open for some time in order to make the
device dry inside.
