to begin grinding coffee beans. The grinder will
rind

cycle on again during brewing to flush grounds from the grinding
chamber. Coffeemaker will automatically shut off when brewing is
complete. To stop brewing midcycle, press G
unit will turn off.
IMPORTANT:
• Wipe inside of bean chamber and outside of shower tube if they
are wet. Beans may adhere if the lid is wet inside. Do not use
wet beans.
• Do not add more than 3 level scoops of dark roast coffee beans
or 4 level scoops of light to medium roast coffee beans when
grinding.

• 1 rounded scoop = 1 1/2 Tablespoons (22.5 ml) coffee beans.
• Do not open the top or coffee basket after beginning to brew.
• If you cancel the brew cycle and start over, replace any wet beans
with new, dry ones.
• Wait 2–3 minutes between cycles.
• Make sure your coffeemaker is clean. See "Care and Cleaning"
directions on page 9.
• Clean sieve holder and sieve weekly. See "Cleaning the Sieve"
directions on page 8.
