FITTINGINSTRUCTIONS:

1. Remove and discard the towing eyes from the left and right chassis lon-
gitudinals. These wil not be refitted. Place angular steel A to the unders-
ide of the rear crossmember using three bolts M10x30 with plain and
springwashers on the existhing captive nuts. Thighten by hand.
2. Attach mounting plate B to the vehicle using two bolts M16x40 and
springwashers at points C. Thighten by hand. Mount at points D two
bolts M12x35 including plain-, springwashers and nuts. Tighten by
hand. Place the side arms. Use by the 90-series arms E and F and by
the 110-series arms G and H. Mount the arms at points I using four bolts
M12x35 including spring-, and plainwashers. Attach by hand.
3. Mount by the 90-series at points M and N two bolts M10X30 including
spring-, plainwashers and nuts. Mount by the 110-series at points K and
L two bolts M12x35 including spring-,plainwashers and nuts.
4. Mount the flange ball with two bolts M16x55 including springwashers
and nuts. If the ball is mounted at points O clamplate P has to be used.
Attach all bolts and nuts in accordance with table.

NOTE:
* The dealer should be consulted for possible necessary adjustment(s)
"of the vehicle".
* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fitting
points.
* All bolts are quality 8.8 - nuts 8. or when mentioned in fitting instructions
10.9 / 10.
* Don't forget the spring- and plain washers.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and ball
hitch pressure of your vehicle.
* It is recommendable to retighten all fixing bolts and nuts after the towbar
has been in use for some 1000 km/600 miles.
* Do not drill through brake-or fuellines.
* Remove (if present) the plastic caps from the spot welding nuts.
Torque settings for nuts and bolts (8.8):
M10 46 Nm
M12 79 Nm 71 Nm (with self-locking nut)
M16 195 Nm
