1 GENERAL
This symbol indicates WARNING! If
the instructions are not followed it may

2 SAFETY
• The safety information in this manual does not
cover all possible risks. Use common sense and
care during use and maintenance.

• To minimise the risk of accidents as much as
possible the following sub chapters should be
observed.

2.1 INTENDED USE

• The deck is designed for normal use and normal
tasks within farming and forestry, for example
care of green spaces and facilities, and for snow
clearing.
• All other use is considered as use outside the
intended purpose. The manufacture incurs no
liability for any damage that occurs as a result
of such use, all liability remains with the user.
• Intended use also covers correct usage
following the operating, maintenance and repair
conditions specified by the manufacturer.
• The deck may only be used, maintained and
repaired by personnel who are familiar with the
machine and aware of the risks.
• Follow the relevant regulations for the
prevention of accidents and other generally
accepted safety precautions and working
environment legislation.
• Any unauthorised changes to the machine will
invalidate any liability for damage otherwise
held by the manufacturer.
2.2 GENERAL SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS AND ACCIDENT
PREVENTION REGULATIONS

2.2.1 Basic rules

• Observe both the information in this instruction
manual and the applicable general safety
precautions and accident prevention
regulations!
• The deck may not be used by persons under 16
years of age, not even if supervised by an adult!
Children and youths must be informed that this
is not a toy.
• The machine must only be used by trained
personnel/persons!
• When using on public roads the applicable
regulations must be followed!
• The user must have close fitting clothing. Avoid
loose clothing and wear sturdy boots or safety
boots!
• Only work in good visibility and good light
conditions!
• The warning and information signs give
important information for risk free operation,
observe these signs for your own safety!
• Watch out for rotating tools - keep a safe
distance!
• Watch out for run on in rotating tools! Wait until
they are completely stationary before starting
work!
