Splash-proof
The appliance is splash-proof. It can be used also inside the shower box.
CAUTION:
Do not dip it in water (e.g. in the bathtub), as the electronic parts of the appliance may
be damaged.

Start-up of the device/introduction
Inserting the Batteries (batteries not included)
• To open the battery compartment, remove the screw (5) on the back of the device.
• Pull the plastic cover downwards and open the battery compartment.
• Insert 3 1.5 V AA type batteries. Make sure that the polarity is correct (see the bot-
tom of the battery compartment or the marking on the outer casing)! If the device is
not used for a long period of time, the batteries are to be removed from the battery
compartment to avoid the "spillage" of the battery acid.
• Close the device by proceeding in the opposite order.
