Chapter 2 Operation
To keep the DDS Autoloader Unit in top condition, clean the head as needed,
using the proper head cleaning cartridge (sold separately).
The magazine is primarily intended to be used with 7 data cartridges, which
ordinarily should be set together with 1 cleaning cartridge (the DG-5CL) in
its prescribed position on the middle shelf.

When the display indicates a cleaning request ("CleanReq"), press the
SELECT button to select "8".

When "Select8" appears on the LCD, press the ENTER button.
The cleaning cartridge in the center slot loads into the drive.
The head is cleaned automatically, then the cleaning cartridge is returned
to its place in the magazine.
One cleaning cartridge can be used 15 times.
