When this option is activated, it will arm the alarm system after following these steps:
1. The engine is stopped, and the key is removed from the ignition.
2. A door has been opened and all doors have been closed again.
3. No door has been opened for 30 consecutive seconds (counter restarts when all doors are
closed again).
If any door is opened when the alarm system is in passive arming, the siren will sound after
14 seconds unless the engine is started or the remote control pressed.
When a door opens, a beep will inform you that passive arming is active, and the alarm status light
(LED) will turn on.
Note:
During passive mode, volumetric sensors are deactivated.
If you lock the car by remote control, the alarm system shifts to normal arming mode.
Remark:
The system does NOT lock any doors, only arms the alarm system.

2.5 Alarm memory

If the alarm went off during your absence, the hazard lights will flash 5 times when the doors are
unlocked, and the buzzer will sound 3 times.
The system memorizes the last three alarm causes. They can be identified at your authorised retailer.
Note:
If you suspect that the alarm system is sounding due to false alarms, please contact your
authorised retailer.

2.6 Alarm with car horn sound

This option is enabled as default. To disable it, please contact your authorised retailer.
In addition to the standard siren, the car horn can be activated to sound or it can be deactivated.
Note:
This option is not available on all car models.

2.7 Garage mode

If you have to bring your car to your authorised retailer and do not want to provide the remote
controlled key, you can deactivate the alarm system for a limited period of time.
During garage mode, all the alarm system functions are inhibited.
