• Ensure you work only on the side of the fascia that you have chosen
for the electrical wiring entry point.
• Use pliers to carefully nip out only one premarked break-out panel
in the correct side of the main body. Align to one of the edges and
break off an initial part of the panel.
• Align to the other edge and break off the second part of the panel.
• Break off the whole part from the center.
• After break off clean up the excess plastic.
• Drill holes.
CAUTION: Do not use the backplate as a guide when drilling. Ensure
no pipe work (gas, water, air) or electrical cables, wires or ductwork
are located directly behind the drilling/mounting area.
• Pull the electrical wiring through the side bracket and side bracket
seal as shown. Ensure that electrical wiring is long enough to route
correctly through the backplate to the terminal block.
(NOTE: Electrical wiring length will be different for left and right
side entries.)
NOTE: Ensure suitable cable gland/conduit connector is used
(not provided) for the installation.
Fixing the backplate to the wall.
Fit the main unit securely to the wall using the appropriate hardware
for the wall type and weight of the unit. Slide the side bracket into
the recess between the wall and the backplate. Screw to the wall and
secure with the appropriate fitting. Do not use counter-sunk screws.

Connecting to terminal block.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock!
Ensure power is not connected.
• Ensure the electrical wiring does not sit above the electrical wiring
guide from the electrical wiring entry point to the terminal block. If
the electrical wiring sits above the guide walls it may interfere with
main components, prevent the security screws being fitted correctly,
or risk the main body being forced onto the backplate, causing
damage.
• Unscrew the electrical wiring clamp from the backplate. Remove the
electrical wiring terminal block holder.
• Open the flap on the terminal block holder. Secure the line, neutral
and ground wires into the correct terminal block locations as
indicated on the terminal block holder.
• Verify the connections are correct before proceeding.
• Close the flap on the terminal block holder and fit it into the
backplate.
• Screw in and secure the electrical wiring clamp.
CAUTION: Do not overtighten and crush the electrical wiring.

Attaching main body.
CAUTION: Do not overtighten screws.
• Hook the main body of the unit over the top rim of the backplate.
• Swing the main body of the unit down onto the back plate. (For
installations with the electrical wiring entry on the side, ensure that
the side bracket seal is correctly seated against the main body.)
• Insert and tighten the (2) security screws into the side of the main
body as illustrated. Recommended torque of 0.5-0.7NM.
• Turn power on.
• CALIBRATION CYCLE: Once the unit is installed, the sensors need
time to calibrate to the surroundings. The unit goes through a
2 minute calibration cycle when first powered on. It is essential
that during this time no objects are left directly below or in close
proximity to the unit, and that you do not try and activate the unit.
After 2 minutes you can use as normal. If you have any issues with
the sensors please switch the machine off and back on again to
repeat the calibration cycle.
• Test unit for correct operation.
Do not use sealant when fixing the unit to the wall. Do not paint/coat
the main body or place graphical stickers on it or this may damage the
anti-microbial surface.

instrucciones pertinentes.
NOTA: Este producto no está recomendado para su montaje
en paredes de superficie porosa (por ejemplo, de yeso) sin una
protección contra salpicaduras, para evitar la pérdida de color en
la pintura o los daños en las paredes no protegidas. (Se encuentra
disponible un panel trasero de Dyson para este producto).
PRECAUCIÓN: No utilice la placa posterior como guía al realizar las
perforaciones. Asegúrese de que no haya ninguna tubería (de gas,
agua, aire) ni cables eléctricos, alambres o conductos directamente
detrás de la zona de montaje/perforación.
• Seleccione la altura adecuada. Estas son alturas recomendadas,
pero es posible que deban adaptarse a cada instalación en
particular. Las medidas recomendadas de las alturas se indican
desde el piso.
Altura para un hombre adulto: 51 pulgadas.
Altura para una mujer adulta: 50 pulgadas.
Altura para un usuario en silla de ruedas: 41 pulgadas.
Altura para un niño de 5 a 8 años: 36,5 pulgadas.
Altura para un niño de 8 a 11 años: 40,5 pulgadas.
Altura para un niño de 11 a 14 años: 43,5 pulgadas.
Los espacios mínimos son: 1,2 pulgadas en la parte superior;
8,7 pulgadas en los laterales. No debe haber obstrucciones entre la
unidad y el piso.
• Mida la ubicación en la pared. Si la entrada del cableado eléctrico
se realiza desde la parte posterior, el cableado eléctrico de la pared
debe alinearse al punto de entrada del cableado eléctrico posterior
de la placa posterior.
• Utilice un lápiz para marcar la ubicación sobre la pared.
Utilice la placa posterior para marcar la ubicación de los cuatro
puntos de fijación.
• Perfore.
• Fije el panel trasero opcional si es necesario.

Fije la placa posterior firmemente a la pared con los elementos de
montaje adecuados según el tipo de pared y el peso de la unidad.
No utilice tornillos avellanados. No ajuste completamente hasta
asegurar el cableado eléctrico.

• Corte el orificio de entrada de la arandela de goma en el tamaño
correcto: deje un orificio más pequeño que el diámetro del
cableado eléctrico para asegurarse de que el cableado eléctrico
quede ajustado.
