Safety Instructions
Safe work with this machine is only possible if you read
this operating instruction and follow them strictly.
Additionally, the general safety instructions of the leaflet
supplied with the tool must be observed. Prior to the first
use, the user should absolve a practical training.
The tool must neither be wet nor used in humid
environment. There must be no spray water near the
machine. Take care when handling wet sponge disks.
Do not use the tool near explosive materials.
Do not work with materials containing asbestos.
Modifications of the tool are prohibited.
Do not use the machine when one part of the housing is damaged.
Check the accessories before use; do not use damaged products.
Before use, make sure that the tool is correctly fixed and fastened.
Let it run idle for about 30 seconds in a safe position. If considerable
vibrations occur or if other defects are recognised, switch off
immediately.
Power tools have to be inspected by a specialist in regular intervals.
Do not touch rotating parts.
Persons under 16 years of age are not allowed to use the machine.
While working, wear ear protectors, a dust mask and protective
goggles.
Make sure that the persons standing in the work area are not hit by
particles which fly around.
Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil and grease.
During operation always hold the machine with both hands.
Caution! The tool still runs for a little while after the machine was
switched off.
Remove the battery pack from the machine before any adjustment,
conversion, maintenance or cleaning is carried out.
Make sure that the machine is switched off when inserting the battery
pack.
Safety instructions for battery packs:
Protect battery packs from water and moisture!
Do not expose battery packs to naked flame!
Do not use faulty or deformed battery packs!
Do not open battery packs!
Do not touch or short-circuit battery packs!
Slightly acidic, flammable fluid may leak from defective Li-ion battery
packs! If battery fluid leaks out and comes into contact with your skin,
rinse immediately with plenty of water. If battery fluid leaks out and
