9. Troubleshooting

If you suspect something is wrong, check the points described below.
Problem
Titles are not shown.
SCAN button does not
respond.
Some songs cannot be
found.
USB mass storage device/
iPod doesn't operate
correctly.
USB mass storage
device/iPod does not
operate correctly after
reconnecting.
In the case of iPod, be sure that you are using the latest iTunes version and iPod is uploaded with
the latest firmware from Apple webpage.
If the suggestions described do not solve the problem, it is recommended that you take the car to
your nearest authorised retailer.
For any question related to the USB mass storage device or iPod itself, please refer to its user
manual or to the manufacturer's webpage.
Possible solution/explanation
Press TEXT.
Check with your authorized retailer if your radio unit supports
CD-text on external CD-changer.
SCAN function is only available for USB mass storage devices,
it does not work on iPod, although the SCN button might be
displayed.
In the case of USB mass storage devices it is necessary to follow
the instructions described in the 'Folder Sorting' section.
Some MP devices may store the songs in their specific
formats or not in the mass storage volume. Please check with
the manufacturer.
The integration kit only supports MP and WMA Files.
In the case of iPod, we recommend that you organise its content
into Playlists using iTunes. All songs are anyway in Playlist 1.
Disconnect the cable from the USB/AUX Jack. Once USB mass
storage device/iPod main menu is displayed, connect the cable
again. (see Resetting section).
Check specification for compatibility
USB mass storage device/iPod has not detected the disconnection.
Reset the USB mass storage device/iPod (see their manual).
Due to the specificity of card readers hardware and
implementation, we cannot fully guarantee the compatibility with
all these devices. Same feature is applicable to other electronic
devices using external memories.
