IMPORTANT
• Read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
• For proper operation, the blades should be quite clean, with no traces of hair. For this purpose,
clean them before and after use with the attached brush.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
• Before using the appliance for the first time, perform a test on a small area of your arm. If symp-
toms appear indicating sensitivity, stop using the appliance. Not use the appliance on irritated
skin, rashes or cuts.
• Remove all elements from the inside or outside of the appliance used for protection during
transport or for sales promotions, such as paper or plastic bags, plastic sheets, cardboard and
stickers.
• Switch off the appliance when not in use, even if only for a moment.
• Do not use it with the guide combs damaged or broken or if any blade teeth are missing.
• Never use any accessory not recommended by Solac, as they could damage the appliance.
• The appliance is designed for home use. It can not be used on a continuous, uninterrupted
basis.
• Do not attempt to trim your eyelashes. Never use the appliance near your eyes.
• Check the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If these signs appear, or if the
product has been used improperly, take it to an Authorised Service Centre.

caused to persons, animals or property due to the failure to heed these warnings.
IMPORTANT!! When you want to dispose of the appliance, NEVER throw it in the
rubbish bin. Take it to your nearest CLEAN POINT or the waste collection centre
closest to your home for processing. You will thus be helping to take care of the
environment.

OPERATION:
• This model works with an AA battery. To fit the battery, remove the protective battery cover (6)
by sliding it downwards. Fit the battery in the appropriate place with the positive terminal (+)
pointing to the head. Put the protective cover back in place (6). Fig. 2
• If you are not going to use the appliance for a long period, do not leave the battery in position
(leak hazard). Remove the battery from the appliance immediately when it has run out.
SWITCHING ON
• Remove the protective cover (5).
• Slide the switch (4) upwards to turn on the appliance.
• This precision appliance is fitted with ultrafine cutting blades with different-sized cutting areas
(2) and (3).
• To remove hair, fit the blade for the type of hair you wish to remove and apply it slowly against
the direction in which the hair grows (Fig. 3). For perfect results, stretch the skin with your
other hand during use.
• To cut, choose the guide comb depending on the desired length and the area in question. With
these heads, you can style your eyebrows or cut the hair on other parts of your body to an even
length (Fig. 4).
• Turn off the appliance before fitting the comb.
• Begin with a long-cut comb and if you want a shorter length, gradually reduce the length of
the comb until you obtain the desired length.
• To fit the guide comb, turn the appliance off and insert the cutting comb by sliding it on to
the head.
