Setting into Operation
GB
4.1 Mounting
1) Place the stand on a horizontal, solid ground.
For a safe position spread the legs of the stand
as far as possible and fix them with the setscrew.
2) Place the controller with the spotlights onto the
stand tube (15) and fix it with the supplied
screws (12) from both sides.
3) To align the spotlights (14), release the respec-
tive setscrews (11, 13) and turn the spotlight into
the desired direction. Pay attention that the
cable (10) will not be stretched or squeezed.
Then retighten the screws.
On the upper side of the controller there are
additional threaded holes so that the spotlights
may also be mounted onto the controller, if
required. In this case unscrew the screw (11) of
the spotlight and fix the spotlight from above in
the same way with the screw and the rubber
washer. When changing the positions of the
spotlights, ensure that the weight is equally dis-
tributed on the left and right sides.
4) To adjust the desired operating height, first
remove the innermost tube of the stand. Place
the safety pin through the two holes for the
desired height and push in the tube to such an
extent that the safety pin is placed on the central
tube. Additionally fix the inside tube with the
setscrew.
If the desired height is not yet reached, pull
out the central tube in the same way and fix it.
IMPORTANT!
G
The stand must be set up in a stable way. Only
extract the telescopic tubes to such an extent that
a safe hold is ensured.
G
Prior to operation check all setscrews and tighten
them, if required.
G
Lay all connection cables so that nobody will trip
over them and thus may overthrow the stand.
G
Always place the unit so that during operation a
sufficient air circulation is ensured. Air vents at
the housing must not be covered in any case.
4.2 Power supply
First connect the supplied mains cable to the mains
jack (1) and then to a socket (230 V~ / 50 Hz). Then
the unit is ready for operation. To switch off, dis-
connect the mains plug from the socket.
