MATERIALS
A 1 Main crossbar
B 2 Side arm
C 2 Spacer
D 2 M12 x 35 x 1.75 bolt, lock washer and ø40 flat washer
E 4 M12 x 40 x 1.75 bolt, 2x ø24 flat washers and Nyloc nut
F 2 M12 x 35 x 1.75 bolt, ø40 flat washer, ø24 flat washer and Nyloc nut
G 2 Cage nut assembly (T-nut M12 x 1.75)
EP 1 Electric plate (supplied with neck option)
Neck option (3006 –series)
ZN 1
Note: With flange neck option this towbar must be used with either a Witter towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-
X towball, which dimensionally conforms to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
FITTING
1. Remove tail lights (plastic screw and socket in boot).
2. Release bumper fixing clips / screws from bottom edge of bumper and from wheel arches. Disconnect
possible wiring inside bumper. Release bumper from vehicle.
3. Remove crash beam from rear panel of vehicle (will not be refitted), mount fixing screws back to vehicle.
4. Remove adhesive tapes (if existing) on mounting holes on outsides of vehicle chassis frames.
5. In case AdBlue tank is installed remove tank or release parts to get access to fitting points.
6. Pre-install spacers (C) with cage nuts (G) to side arms (B). Insert parts (B) into vehicle side frames and mount
loosely in holes using fixings (D) & (F).
7. Mount crossbar (A) to side arms (B) using fixings (E).
8. Align parts and tighten all fixings carefully to the right torque.
9. Refit AdBlue tank and bumper to vehicle.
10. Mount chosen neck option (ZD) and socket plate (EP) to crossbar (A).
11. Align parts and tighten all screws/nuts to the correct torque.
12. Re-install vehicle in reverse order.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52Nm, M12 - 80Nm, M14 - 130Nm,
M16 - 200Nm, Grade 10.9 bolts: M8 - 35Nm, M10 - 70Nm, M12 - 120Nm
