Names and Function on Each Part
Front Panel
1. INPUT Jack: 1/4" phone jack input.
TUBE SCREAMER Section
2. OVERDRIVE: Controls the distortion depth. Turning the knob
clockwise increases both distortion and sustain.
3. TONE: Controls the overall tone.
4. LEVEL: Controls the output level of the TUBE SCREAMER sec-
tion.
5. TUBE SCREAMER Switch: This switches the TUBE SCREAMER
section between ON and OFF. When this is turned OFF, the guitar
signal bypasses TUBE SCREAMER section.
Tube Section
6. TREBLE: Controls high frequency range.
7. BASS: Controls low frequency range.
8. VOLUME: Controls the output level from this amplifier. The amp
can be overdriven by turning the volume up.
9. REVERB: Controls reverb level.
10. POWER Switch: This switch turns the AC power on/off the ampli-
fier. Turning on the switch illuminates the power indication light at
the left and power is supplied to this amp. Before this is turned on,
connect your guitar to this amp by shielded cable. Wait for about 30
seconds till the tubes warm up, and play the amp.
Rear Panel
11. AC INPUT: Connect the included AC power cable to this connec-
tor. Only use this amp with the voltage indicated on the panel.
12. SPEAKER OUTPUT jack: Connect to speaker cabinet with speak-
er cable.
13. HEADPHONES OUT jack: 1/4" stereo phone jack output. Even
when using this jack, the speaker in this amp is not muted.
Warning:
This phones output produces a large volume of sound. Ensure that the
volume has been turned down before beginning to play using the head-
phones, and then slowly increase the volume until it has reached the
desired level. Note that the noise and distorted sound signals produced
when inserting or removing the headphone plug at high volume levels will
result in damage to the headphones and to the user's hearing.
14. LINE OUT jack: Monaural 1/4" phone jack with a line level output.
You can connect to an external mixing console or similar equip-
ment. Even when using this jack, the speaker in this amp is not
muted.
15. FOOTSWITCH jack: Connect to the footswitch IFS1G or IFS1L.
You can control the TUBE SCREAMER switch via footswitch.
When the footswitch is connected, on/off switch on the top panel
are disabled.
