3.3.3. DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is recommended that you insert previously chilled
/ heated food into the appliance depending on the
selected function.
Do not put frozen or hot food into the fridge.
Arrange items so that air can circulate inside the
refrigerator.
Do not leave the appliance door open longer than
necessary to avoid increased energy consumption.
Products such as fruits and vegetables should be
stored closer to the top of the cooling compartment
because that area is usually a bit warmer. This will
reduce the risk of their deterioration and protect
them from being crushed by heavier items.
To improve the efficiency of the device, it is
recommended that the cooling compartment be as
full as possible at all times. The full compartment
ensures lower energy consumption over 24 hours
than when it is half full, because there is less space
between the food products, which helps maintain the
temperature. When traveling, it is good to replace
food products removed from the compartment with
e.g., water bottles. This will fill the empty space and
help maintain cold temperature inside the cooling
compartment.
Frequently opening the lid causes warm air to enter
the cooling compartment. It is recommended to open
the lid as seldom as possible.
If the device is placed in the back of a car or trailer, it
should be protected from direct sunlight. Adequate
ventilation should also be provided to ensure efficient
energy consumption of the device and its good
efficiency. Remember that when the vehicle is parked
in the sun when the ambient temperature is + 30 °C,
the interior of the vehicle can reach + 55 °C.
Make sure that the car ignition is turned on before
connecting the device to the 12V power supply.
Turning on the car ignition with the device plugged
in may cause overvoltage which may damage the
device.
The device should not be connected to the 12V power
supply when the car engine is turned off as it may
discharge the battery.
