The skids are adjustable in height. Secure their height by placing
the pin so that they are as close as possible to the underbody.
The jack must be in the low position and both skids must be
adjusted to the same height.
Once the tool is properly positioned, proceed with the climb manoeuvre:
- Check that no one or obstacles are in the safety zone.
- Push the lever up continuously, making sure that the 2 skids make contact at the grip points at the same time and
that the skids have not moved during the docking phase. It must be checked throughout the climb that the jack does
not come into contact with certain parts on the underside of the vehicle (plastic cover, exhaust manifold, airbag sensors,
etc.).
- Once the desired height is reached, stop pressing the lever, the jack stops ascending.
- Immediately after lifting, place the 2 safety supports by locking them with the pins to support the vehicle (do not go
under the vehicle to place them). Push the lever down so that the supports can touch the ground. Leave enough pres-
sure in the tubes to keep the jack under pressure.
GYS accepts no responsibility in case of damaged causes to people if the operator does not res-
pect recommendations.

2/ WORKING POSITION

Once the climbing operation is complete and before starting work on the vehicle, the total stability of the vehicle on the
jack must be checked. You can fold the control lever and disconnect the air supply hose from the control box to work
and circulate safely around the vehicle.
3/ DESCENT
Connect the air and raise the jack sufficiently to remove the safety supports (without going under the vehicle).
To perform the descent manoeuvre, push the joystick down.
i
The joystick always returns to its initial position when the operator does not press it to ensure that
all operator actions are voluntary.
Before lowering the jack, it is advisable to check that no electrical cables or objects are present
through the scissors. It is also important to ensure that no one is in the security perimeter.
