• The suspended door cabinet for installing the automatic drive must be sufficiently
load-bearing and stable for bearing the weight of the automatic drive. Only use
approved fastening materials (e.g. dowels, screws).
• The top of the cabinet must be level.
• Use suitable, checked and stable climbing aids during installation work overhead.
• At least two persons are required for the entire installation procedure.
• Cover the automatic drive when drilling. Drilling dust and chips can lead to
malfunction of the automatic drive.

Check for correct installation
WARNING
Life-threatening electric shock during installation with a plugged in
mains plug!
The automatic drive must be disconnected from the power supply during
installation!
> Never plug the automatic drive into the power supply during
installation.
Perform installation in accordance with the graphical installation instructions starting
on page 44.
Installation is shown on the basis of an example installation situation in the version
for two-leaf cabinet doors. Reference is made to the installation of three-leaf cabinet
doors in the required locations.
Following the installation of the automatic drive, adapt the arm connections and the
cabinet door settings to the customer-specific conditions, paying attention to the
associated instructions.
9.1 Installing the followers
Please pay attention to package slip "E2" (two-piece follower) and "E3" (three-piece
follower) and the additional installation steps described therein.
9.2 Connect motor cable
Connect motor cable to the connection of motor A and the "Motor A" connection on
the control unit. Connect motor cable to the connection of motor B and the "Motor B"
connection on the control unit.
Do not mix up the connections!
9.3 Installing the control unit
Install control unit so that the Reset button is easily accessible.
9.4 Remove transport safety equipment
Do not remove remove transport safety equipment until the automatic drive has
been installed.
