Connecting the fixture to 12 V
The light sources have already been assembled, which means the two
spotlights can be used immediately. As a result, you do not have to
insert light sources into the spotlights before attaching them to the
stand.
Step 1
Assemble the stand components and place the cap (it is also possible
to only use one part of the stand). Slide the spotlights on to the stand
and use the rotating knobs to fix them in the desired position. Use the
cable clamps to attach the cable to the stand. Screw the ground pin
into the stand and insert the fixture into the ground. Connect the two
cables to the splitter. Use the cable bundlers to neatly bundle under-
ground cables.
Step 2
Join the Easy-Lock connector to the main cable. (Fig. 1)
a. Clamp the cable duct on top of the main cable.
b. Place the cable duct (with the cable at the bottom) in the Easy-
Lock connector.
c. Tighten the threaded cap on the Easy-Lock connector. This will
cause the contacts to be pushed through the insulation on the
cable. In tightening the cap, a little gel is applied to the contacts in
the Easy-Lock connector. This serves to protect the contacts
against moisture. A little gel may possibly come out of the Easy-
Lock connector: so after installation (and/or before a meal), wash
your hands with soap and water, and avoid the gel coming into
contact with your eyes.
Step 3
Make a connection between the main cable and the fixture by con-
necting the splitter to the Easy-Lock connector. If the lights do not
function properly, check whether the Easy-Lock connector has been
correctly connected to the main cable. Then check if the splitter has
been correctly connected to the Easy-Lock.
General maintenance advice
We advise wiping the fixture down at least once a year using a clean
cloth and warm water.
