Maintenance and cleaning
Switch the unit off with the main switch and pull the power plug. Remove all hoses and the motor housing (C). Turn the
inlet distributor (D1) out of the bajonet closure and, if required, remove the inner tank (D2) from the holder. Thoroughly
rinse the collection container to remove all dirt particles. This also applies to the inlet distributor (D1) and the outlet valve
(F1). Remove the foam filter (E1) by unbolting the engagement plates (E2) and wash out with clean water. Check the
foam filter (E1) and, if damaged, replace this wearing part by an original OASE foam filter.
Check sealing rings for damage and completeness. If necessary, change the rubber seals in the inlet distributor (D3) and
in the drain valve (F2). Inlet distributor: to be turned out. Drain valve: Remove screw from inside the tank.
Please contact your specialist dealer when the distributor unit (E3) requires maintenance!
Wearing parts
Foam filter, sealing rings and valve rubber parts are wearing parts and are, therefore, not covered by our warranty.
Storage
Empty out the collection container and clean the unit. Store in a dry, frost protected room, inaccessible to children.
Disposal
Dispose of the unit in accordance with the national legal regulations.
Malfunctions
The unit does not perform its suction function, generates unusual noise or heavily vibrates (G1). Turn the unit off at the
main switch (G2) and on again after 20 seconds. If the fault reoccurs, either the tank is full (with the closing plug inserted)
or the inlet distributor, the return or the foam filters are soiled (G3). See maintenance and cleaning!

Cause
- Either the tank is full (with the closing plug inserted) or
the inlet distributor, the return or the foam filters are
soiled (G3).
- Excessive height difference between water level and
unit
- Flaps at the inlet distributor (D1) are jammed / soiled
- The outlet flap is jammed / soiled
- O ring at the inner tank (D2) not properly seated
- O ring at the inlet distributor (D2) not properly seated
- O ring at the valve unit (E3) not properly seated
- Both containers are full of water and completely sealed
by the floats
- Dirt has accumulated in the foam filter, in the suction
tube or in the suction hose
- Drain openings (C3) or the drain hose are plugged
- The drain hose is kinked or was not laid with a gravity
drainage
- The larger the number of tubes used, the higher the tube
frictional resistance. The suction capacity reduces.
- The larger the height difference between water level and
unit, the lower the effective suction capacity
- Water drops sucked through the turbine. Heated, humid
air condenses when leaving the turbine housing
- Soiling in the drain (C3)
- The valve unit does not function correctly
- Leaks at the O ring sealed points
Remedy
- Turn the unit off at the main switch (G2) and on again after 20
seconds
- See maintenance and cleaning!
- We recommend to place the unit at a height identical to the
water level
- Remove the inlet distributor (D1) and check the flap seating
- Remove the drain hose and check the flap seating
- Check the O ring seating
- Check the O ring seating
- Check the O ring seating
- Switch off and drain the unit
- Remove dirt
- Remove dirt from the drain openings (C3) and the drain hose
- Lay the hose without kinks and, if possible, with a slight grav-
ity drainage
- Keep the suction hose as short and flat as possible
- Remove the non-return valve at the nozzle
- This is normal, especially at low temperatures
- Switch the unit off and check for soiling
- Check the smooth movement of the valve plates
- Check O rings
