2.4.2. Informative note for users
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on a product means that, at the end of its useful
life, the waste equipment must be collected separately and should not be disposed of
with household waste. A user who wishes/has to dispose of waste electrical equipment
must contact an authorized collection and recycling point or, alternatively, contact the
equipment manufacturer in charge of end-of-life procedures and follow its separate
waste collection recommendations. In case of disposal in a foreign Country, contact the
competent local Authority.
Suitably separate collection of decommissioned equipment for its subsequent recycling,
processing and environmentally sustainable disposal helps minimize the possible
adverse effects on the environment and on human health and promotes the re-use
and/or recycling of the equipment construction materials. Unauthorized disposal of
waste electrical equipment by its owner is punishable with administrative penalties
according to the Law Decree 152/2006 and subsequent amendments or additions.
Product end-of-life disposal procedures must be agreed to by professional

3. USE
3.1. Handling and transport
The machine can easily be transported both packaged or unpackaged. When it is
transported, pay attention to the electrical lines.
3.2. Before use
Before starting the machine the operator must have read and understood all sections of
this manual, especially Chapter 2 concerning safety.
Before using the machine for the first time:
-
familiarise yourself with the controls and their functions,
-
check that machine components subject to wear or deterioration are in good
condition,
-
check that all safety systems are working properly and covers fitted properly.
3.3. Connection
The machine must only be connected to a 12 V fully charged battery via the crocodile
clips at the end of the supplied power lead.
Connect the crocodile clips as follows:
-
connect the RED CLIP to the battery positive +
-
connect the BLACK CLIP to the battery negative –
NOTE: Do not connect the crocodile clips to generators, car batteries, agricultural
equipment or chargers as they could generate current surges that are potentially
dangerous to the machine. Do not bring the machine into contact with water.
