Congratulations on purchasing the Jogger kit. This manual is additional to the Hamax Outback Multifunctional Child Carrier user
manual. Please read the instructions carefully before assembling or using the Hamax Outback. We wish you and your children

• This product complies to the European standards for child bicycle trailers and strollers (EN 15918,
EN 1888).
• FALL HAZARD from tip over. Before running, jogging or walking fast, a separate jogging wheel must
be mounted.
• FALL HAZARD - Wheel can detach and cause tip over. Pull on wheel to assure it is securely
attached.
• Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
• Always use the wrist strap when using the jogger.
• Always test the hand brake after installation before using the jogger.
• The hand brake can be used to reduce the speed of the vehicle, not suitable for a direct full stop.
GETTING STARTED - INSTALLATION

Attaching and removing the jogger wheel
Attaching and removing the jogger wheel is done similar to the bicycle arm. Please see the main manual for details.
Mounting the hand brake
• You can select if you want the hand brake mounted for the left or right hand.
• Guide the cable through the 4 velcro cable straps [2e]. The brake cable should always be guided through the right side of the
trailer.
• Place the hand brake [2b] over the push bar (space in the middle) and attach the hand brake by using the hand screw [2a].
Attaching the wrist strap
• Fold the wrist strap around the push bar [2c].
• Pull the loop at the end of the wrist strap through the glide buckle [2d] on the other end and pull the strap tight.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Storage
TIP: Use the storage strap [1c] for optimal storage of the Jogger kit.
Maintenance
• Adjusting the brake cable: If the brake is not functioning properly when using the hand brake you can adjust the brake cable
length at the hand brake knob [3a] and/or at the caliper knob [3d]. Are you in doubt, please contact your local dealer for
assistance.

• Adjusting the caliper: If the disc brake [3c] alignment is incorrect inside the caliper [3b], for example out of center and/or
interfering with the caliper, you can optimize the alignment of the caliper [3b] by adjusting its orientation. There is a bolt on
each side [3e] [3f]. Use hexagon key size 5. Are you in doubt, please contact your local dealer for assistance.
• Assembling the quick release wheel: Always make sure that the spacers [4d] and the hooked washers [4c] are properly in place
when fastening the quick release axle [4b]. The jogger fork hook [4a] is in between the spacer and the hooked washer.
WARRANTY
The Hamax Outback Multifunctional Child Carrier is warranted from the date of purchase. The warranty period depends on the
law of the country in question. The warranty applies to defects in materials or workmanship, and does not cover damage due
to improper use, lack of maintenance, failure to follow the user manual, use of force or normal wear and tear. The warranty is
valid for the original user only. Please read the use and maintenance recommendations carefully. Conditions that may cause
premature wear of the carrier may not be covered by the warranty. Should the carrier require service or you want to make a
warranty claim, please contact your local dealer from whom you purchased your carrier.

Montering og fjerning av joggehjulet
Montering og fjerning av joggehjulet gjøres på samme måte som sykkelarmen. Se den primære brukerhåndboken for detaljer.
Montering av håndbremsen
• Du kan velge om du ønsker å montere håndbremsen for høyre- eller venstrehendte.
• Før kabelen gjennom de fire borrelåsene [2e]. Bremsekabelen må alltid trekkes på høyre side av sykkelvognen.
