Operation and use

Indicator lamp (7)
The appliance is equipped with an indicator
lamp to indicate heating activity.
When the water is being heated, the indica-
tor light goes on.
The indicator lamp lights up intermittently
while keeping warm and intermittent boiling.

Switching the appliance on/off

The appliance is turned on and off via the
rotary knob (6). The appliance is switched
off when the knob is in position "0". Turn
the rotary knob clockwise to switch on the
appliance as well as for continuous setting
of the water temperature. Turn the rotary
knob back to the "0" position to switch off
the appliance. The indicator lamp (7) extin-
guishes.

Rotary knob (6)
The rotary knob is operated as follows:
■ 0: The appliance is switched off.
■ Switching on the appliance: Turn the
rotary knob (6) clockwise. The appliance
switches itself on with an audible click.
The indicator lamp (7) lights up.
■ Setting the water temperature:
–
Lowest water temperature: Rotary
knob (6) setting immediately after the
switch-on click.
–
Highest water temperature: Turn the
rotary knob (6) clockwise until it stops.
