This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle could
harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it
should be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned to your
distributor or to a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental rules.

the device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.
First use: laser warning sticker
The device is labelled with a laser warning sticker in English. The package contains stickers in other languages.
If the user does not understand English, put the sticker with the language on the device.
1. Refer to the safety instructions before using the device.
2. Make sure the device does not contain batteries.
3. Put the sticker in your language on the device.
4. When done, insert batteries (see section Battery below).

Safety Instructions
Keep out of reach of children.
When device is in use, NEVER look directly or indirectly (reflectance) into the laser beam.
Never point the beam toward people's or animals' eyes or allow the beam to strike the eye from a
reflective surface.
Use extreme caution when the laser pointer beam is on.
Do not use the laser near explosive gases or in other potentially explosive areas.
Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids.
DO NOT disassemble or open the cover. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer to an authorized
dealer for service and/or spare parts.
Warning! Visible laser radiation. Do not stare into the beam as eye damage will occur. This device
contains a class 2 laser. Output power does not exceed 1 mW, wavelength 650 nm.

Inspect the housing before using the device. Do not use it if it appears damaged. Look for cracks or missing
plastic.
Replace the battery as soon as the battery indicator appears on the display.

Do not use the thermometer if it operates abnormally.

Do not operate the thermometer around explosive gas, vapour, or dust.

To avoid burn hazard, remember that highly reflective objects will often result in lower than actual
temperature measurements.
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the

dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
