A subject as small as 4.7" x 3.1" (12 x 8 cm) can be taken
fully within the frame.
Shooting Range: 4" ~ 20" (0.1 m ~ 0.5 m)
● The LCD monitor turns on automatically (p. 78) and the
Macro indicator is displayed on the control panel.
● Subjects closer than 4" (0.1 m) may turn out to be out of
focus and incorrectly exposed. Do not use the flash when
the subject is closer than 8" (0.2 m). When using the flash,
light/dark colors may be exaggerated. (p. 90)
● Press the LCD monitor ON/OFF button or the Function
button to cancel the mode.

DIGITAL TELE/WIDE MODE
In the Digital Tele/Wide mode, the subject can be
photographed (cropped to appear) twice as large.
Press the Next (+) button to use the mode.
Press the Previous (–) button to return to the standard mode.
● The LCD monitor turns on automatically. (p. 78)
● This mode can only be used in the SQ mode resolution
(automatically sets).
● Press the LCD monitor ON/OFF button or the Function
button to cancel the mode.
