5. OPERATION
Please note the recommended tyre pressure for your vehicle in your
vehicle owner's handbook.
Do not measure the tyre pressure on warm tyres (e.g. after long
drives).
TO TEST TYRE PRESSURE:
1. Remove the dust cap from the tyre valve.
2. Press the button
3. Press the pressure gauge nozzle firmly onto the tyre valve so that
no air can escape. The reading is shown.
4. Remove the pressure gauge from the tyre valve.
The reading is shown for 10 seconds and then switches to
"0.00". The device automatically switches off after another 10
seconds.
As long as the display is switched on, the test can be repeated
at any time irrespective of the reading shown.
5. Screw the dust cap back onto the tyre valve.
The tyre pressure can be displayed in two different units (bar and
PSI).
Additionally, a target air pressure can be entered for the front and
back tyres. Set the target air pressure according to your vehicle speci-
fications. The respective target air pressure serves as a comparison
value during the measurement.
