8 - Factory Reset
Your device may be reset to factory conditions: - push and hold simultaneously
9 - Maintenance
Before beginning maintenance, turn off the device by pressing and holding the key
To maintain your radiator's performance, approximately twice a year you must dust the lower and upper grilles
on the device with a vacuum or brush.
The device may be cleaned with a damp cloth; never use abrasive agents or solvents.
In polluted atmosphere, smudges may appear on the device's grilles. This is related to poor air quality. In this
case, it is advisable to check correct ventilation in the room (ventilation, air intake, etc.) and air quality. These
smudges do not qualify for guarantee replacement.
10 - Troubleshooting
Problem Encountered
The radiator does not heat
The radiator heats all the
time
The radiator does not heat
enough
Smudges appear on the
walls around the radiator
The heating pictogram
appears on the screen when
the radiator is in ECO mode.
For those devices equipped with a scheduling system or piloted through the pilot wire.
The radiator does not follow
the external scheduler's
orders.
If you are running a schedule, check that the scheduler is in COMFORT mode.
Check that the installation circuit breakers are not tripped and that the load
shedding device (if you have one) has not cut off the radiator's power supply
(see part 10). Check the air temperature in the room: if it is too high the
heating pictogram is not displayed: The radiator does not heat.
Check that the radiator is not in a draft or that the temperature settings have
not been changed.
Increase the set temperature for Comfort.
If the setting is at maximum, perform the following checks:
- Check whether another heating mode exists in the room.
- Ensure that the radiator is only heating the room (door closed).
- Have the device's power supply voltage checked.
- Check whether your radiator's power is appropriate for the size of your
room (we suggest an average of 100W/m² for a ceiling height of 2.50m).
These smudges are related to the poor quality of the ambient air. In this case
we suggest you check ventilation in the room (ventilation, air intake, etc.)
and the quality of the air and avoid smoking inside. These smudges do not
qualify for guarantee replacement.
This is normal. The radiator may heat in order to maintain the Eco
temperature.
Check that the scheduling unit is being operated correctly (see the User's
Guide) or that the scheduler is correctly positioned in its housing and is
operating normally (check the status of the batteries, fuse...). Check that
your device is in schedule mode and the external ''centralized'' schedule is
set to the correct day of the week.
