• The only connections made should be those provided in this manual: making any incorrect connections could be
dangerous and could seriously damage the system.
• In view of the risks that may arise during the installation and usage phases of the product components should be
installed in accordance with the following recommendations: Do not make any modifications of any kind to any
parts of the device unless those modifications are described in this guide. Unauthorised operation will only lead
to operating problems. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage resulting from products that have been
modified arbitrarily.
The charge regulator is intended for use in photovoltaic systems with 12V
vented or sealed (VRLA) lead acid batteries only.
• Batteries store a large amount of energy. Never short circuit a battery under all circumstances. We recommend
connecting a use slow acting type, according to the nominal regulator current) directly to the battery terminal.
• Batteries can produce flammable gases. Avoid making sparks, using fire or any naked flame. Make sure that the
battery room is ventilated.
• Avoid touching or short circuiting wires or terminals. Be aware that the voltages on specific terminals or wires
can be up to double the battery voltage. Use isolated tools. Stand on dry ground and keep your hands dry.
