Since all hair does not grow in the same direction, you need to move
the appliance in different directions (upward, downward or across).
Make sure that the flat part of the comb is always fully in contact with
the scalp to obtain an even result. Make overlapping passes over the
head to ensure that you cut all the hair that needs to be cut.
6. If a lot of hair has collected in the comb, remove the comb from the
appliance and blow and/or shake the hair out of it.
contouring without comB
1. You can use the appliance without comb to clip hair very close to the
skin or to contour the neckline and the area around the ears.
2. Tilt the appliance in such a way that only one edge of the cutting
element touches the hair when you shape the contours around the ears.
3. To contour the neckline and sideburns, turn the appliance and make
downward strokes.
uSe the thinning guide
This technique allows you to thin out hair to make styling easier. The
technique is particularly good for the crown of the head where hair is
usually thicker.
1. Slide out the thinning guide, the thinning guide will be in front of the
blades.
2. To thin you hair, take a section of hair (rest your little and ring fingers
on your scalp, using the middle and index fingers to set the length),
hold 1 to 2 cm below the cutting length.
3. Then use the clipper and cut the section of hair steeply and at an angle
to create a saw toothed "edge"
maintenance
1. Clean the clipper blades regularly so they will keep their optimal
performance.
2. To make cleaning easier, the clipper blades can removed. Make sure the
clipper is turned off. Hold the clipper with the blades pointing up and
remove them by pressing the top of the blade.
3. Brush the blades and appliance with the cleaning brush to remove any
hair.
4. When you notice the clipper isn't performing well, remove the blades
as described above. Carefully squeeze a few drops of oil onto the pad.
Then put the blades back on the clipper. The enclosed oil is specially
formulated for clippers, it will not slow the blades down.
