Disassembly and transport
1.
Switch off the PowerStroll and unplug the cable at
the control panel.
2. Remove the relief strap from the push handle.
3. To release the battery, press the gray PUSH but-
ton on the power unit (photo 16). Then pull out the
battery.
4. Remove the power unit. To do this, pull the black
band between the holders upwards and at the same
time, take the power unit out of the holder from the
back (see image below).
5. Stow all parts in the carrying bag provided.
Note
The battery supplied with the PowerStroll meets IATA
special provision A67 and is approved for transport in an
airplane. Nonetheless, if you have any questions in this
regard, consult your airline prior to travel.
Cleaning | Maintenance
• Clean regularly with a moist cloth!
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents!
• Do not use abrasive cleaners!
• Do not use any high-dose chlorine and vinegar-based
cleaners!
• To disinfect, a spray disinfectant can be used such as
Descosept AF or Bacillol AF.
• Check the screws regularly and tighten, if necessary.
• The product must not be continuously exposed to tem-
peratures over 60°C.
• In the event of defects, contact your specialist dealer
from whom you purchased this product.
• Do not use any petroleum ether, solutions or evapora-
ting solutions since these could damage plastic parts.
Do not use any wax.
• Ensure that the charging unit was unplugged and that
the PowerStroll is switched off before you clean it.

• Check the condition of the tires regularly. They are
"fail-safe," meaning that you do not have to check air
pressure or fill them with air. Always check the tires for
tears or other damage, however.
Troubleshooting
The wheelchair does not move although the lever is
squeezed:
• Check whether the PowerStroll is switched on.
• Check whether the battery is fully charged.
• Check whether the connection between the battery
and motor is correct.
• Check whether the brakes of the wheelchair are
released.
• Check whether the drive wheel is in contact with the
ground.
• It is difficult to move the wheelchair by hand:
• Check whether the brakes of the wheelchair are
released.
• • Raise the PowerStroll.
Warranty conditions
There is a comprehensive warranty for a period of two
years (except for parts subject to wear; 6 months for the
battery) starting from the date of delivery of your new Po-
werStroll. The warranty includes the replacement parts
of the PowerStroll during this period.
