To Replace the Visor:
1.
Using a Pozi-drive Screwdriver,
unscrew the two visor clamp screws and
remove the visor clamps from the mask.
2.
Remove the visor from the location
groove in the outer mask.
3.
Replace in reverse order, ensuring
that the witness marks on the visor and
frame are in alignment with the centre-
line of the facemask.
4.
Tighten screws evenly. DO NOT
over-tighten.
Note:
If required, the visor clamp grooves may
be lubricated with a solution of soap and
water in order to ease assembly.
To Replace the Outer Mask Inhale
Valve Flap:
1.
Using a bladed Screwdriver (or
similar), CAREFULLY lever the valve
frame from its location lip on the front
fitting. Remove the inhale valve assembly
from the mask.
2.
Remove the valve flap from the
valve pin and fit the new valve flap over
the valve pin.
3.
Insert the inhale valve assembly
into the front fitting so that the valve
frame is on the outside. Locate the
retaining groove in the valve frame over
the location lip on the front fitting.
CAUTION:
Ensure that the valve flap does not
become trapped between the valve
frame and the front fitting during
assembly.
4.
Check that the flap lies flat on the
valve frame.
To Replace the Exhale Valve:
1.
Using a Pozi-drive Screwdriver,
remove the front cover from the front
fitting.
2.
Working from inside the mask, push
the exhale valve assembly out through
the front fitting.
3.
Before
exhale valve, lightly lubricate the O-Ring
with MS4 Silicone Grease.
4.
Locate the exhale valve assembly
into the front fitting and push firmly into
position.
5.
Re-fit the front cover to the front
fitting. Tighten screws evenly. DO NOT
over-tighten.
To Replace the Inner Mask Inhale
Valve Flaps:
The valve flaps are located on the inside
of the inner mask.
1.
Carefully pull the inhale valve flaps
and valve pins from the inner mask.
2.
Clean the inner mask and fit new
valve flaps to the valve pins. Refit flaps
and pins to the inner mask.
3.
Check that the valve flaps move
freely on the pins and lie flat on the inner
mask.
WARNINGS:
•
Check the valve flaps before
each use to ensure that they are
clean and undamaged.
•
Check that the inhalation valve
flaps are flexible.
•
Valves and O-Rings must be
replaced if they are damaged in
any way.
CAUTION:
Rubber components should always be
stored in clean, dry conditions away
from direct sunlight and heat.
To Replace the Inner Mask:
