6. Stow the device, the charger and the rechargeable battery in a dry, frost-free area
that is not accessible to children or animals.
For space-saving storage, you can fold the side of the cleaning head (where the
magnet is located) up to the pole.
Troubleshooting
If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst. Otherwise contact customer service. Do not attempt to repair a
defective device yourself!

2. Take the brushes out of their brackets: Small arrow marks
are located on the brush ends. If you push a brush to-
wards the mark it can be removed from the bracket.
3. Remove any dust and dirt from the brushes and the clean-
ing head. If necessary, you can wipe off all parts of the
device with a dry or damp, lint-free cloth.
4. After cleaning, put the cleaning brushes back in the brack-
ets. To do so, fi rst insert the brush end with the arrow mark
in the bracket, apply pressure and place the other brush
end in the second bracket.
5. Place the cover back on the cleaning head and se-
cure it by pushing the latches away from one another.
ATTENTION: A small magnet is located on both the bot-
tom pole section and the cover. When inserting the cover,
make sure that both magnets are aligned with one another.

Is the storage battery empty? Charge it.
•
Has the rechargeable battery been inserted so that it locks into
the battery compartment?
•
Are the bottom pole section and the pole section of the
cleaning head properly connected?
•
Make sure that the rechargeable battery has been properly
inserted in the charger.
•
Is the charger properly connected with the socket?
•
Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
•
Check the fuse for your mains connection.
•
Check whether the dust bin is full and if necessary, empty it.
•
Some debris may be caught in the carpet fl oor or may be too
large/too heavy for the device to remove.
•
Make sure that the dust bin is empty and securely closed.
•
Check whether any debris is caught in the rotating cleaning
brushes and remove it.
