Before fi rst use
Before you can use the device, you must:
1. unpack the product contents,
2. charge the rechargeable battery,
3. assemble the device.

Unpacking the product contents

ATTENTION!
❐ Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and animals.
• Unpack all parts and make sure that the product contents are complete (see chapter
"Scope of delivery and device overview") and that there are no transport damages.
If you identify damages to the components, do not use them (!), instead contact our
customer service centre.

Charging the rechargeable battery

CAUTION!
❐ Do not leave the rechargeable battery in the charger for longer than 24 hours to pre-
vent shortening its life cycle.
The rechargeable battery must be charged before using the device for the fi rst time or if
the device is losing power.
3. Let the rechargeable battery fully charge. The fi rst time you recharge the battery, the
charging time amounts to approximately 8 hours. The subsequent recharging time
depends on the respective charging level of the rechargeable battery; approximately
5 hours are needed if the rechargeable battery is empty.
4. Then pull the charger out of the socket and remove the rechargeable battery. To do
this, depress the two side release buttons on the rechargeable battery and remove
the rechargeable battery .
1. Insert the rechargeable battery in the charger so
that it audibly locks into place. The rechargeable
battery only fi ts the charger in one direction (with
the arrows aligned).
2. Connect the charger to an easily accessible, prop-
erly installed socket that corresponds to the tech-
nical data (see chapter "Technical data").
