Assembling the device

Use

ATTENTION!
❐ Keep children and animals away from the device when it is used.
❐ Make sure that the device has been properly assembled before you use it.
❐ If you lift the device up, always hold the cleaning head in a horizontal position to pre-
vent dirt from falling out of the dust bin.
❐ When using the device, make sure that no hard dirt particles accumulate under the
cleaning head as they could damage sensitive surfaces.
1. Set the On/Off switch to the ON position in order to turn the device on. The brushes
on the cleaning head will start to rotate.
2. Move the cleaning head back and forth over the fl oor. The rotating brushes will collect
dirt and it will be collected in the dust bin on the bottom of the cleaning head.
If an excessive amount of dirt collects in the brushes, it could cause them to jam.
If this happens, set the On/Off switch to the OFF position, take the rechargea-
ble battery out of the device and clean the brushes (see chapter "Cleaning and
storage").
1. Connect the bottom pole section with the pole section on
the cleaning head. Make sure that the two arrows on the
respective poles are facing on another. Depress the two
catches on the pole section of the cleaning head when
pushing the pole sections together. Afterwards, the catch-
es must lock into the openings on the bottom pole section.
2. Then screw the middle pole section onto the bottom pole
section and the upper pole section onto the middle pole
section.
3. Once the rechargeable battery has charged, place it in the
battery compartment on the bottom pole section (with the
arrows aligned).
3. For improved handling, you can tilt the pole to a 90° angle:
Push the button on the side of the joint upwards and move
the pole towards the battery compartment. The angle can
be set steplessly.
4. If you would like to turn the device back off, move the On/
Off switch to the OFF position.
5. Every time you fi nish using the device, empty the dust bin
(see below).
