In smart phone WiFi Settings - Connect to Home WiFi
Enter WiFi Password and Security Pin in app setup screen
Turn ON smart phone WiFi
Turn ON Home WiFi (base station)
See page 9 of Instruction Sheet
Switch to same Home WiFi in smart phone WiFi settings
Check Home WiFi name is proper. If name changed, re-setup Controller through app using new
Home WiFi name
Re-enter Home WiFi password in app
RESTART Home WiFi (base station)
Consider adding WiFi extender near Controller.
Follow instructions in app on smart phone to setup user account and synchronize smart phone
with Controller
Enter correct Home WiFi password in app on smart phone
After initiating the connection using the app, the PIN number will appear on the Controller
screen. Enter this PIN number into the app.
Upgrade smart phone to a supported operating system. See www.moen.com/u/support for the
current list of supported operating systems.
Clear items off smart phone to free up memory. Download app.
Delete app from smart phone and reinstall
Consider adding WiFi extender near desired use location of smart phone
Follow instructions in app on smart phone to setup user account and synchronize smart phone
with Controller. Then in the app settings the device icons can be properly assigned.
Replace the batteries in the optional battery backup kit
Restore Home power. Shower will operate with limited control functionality under this
condition. Smart phone functionality is deactivated during battery power mode.
