Means that you must not use voltage
exceeding 750V, It may damage the device
3.3.3. DC MEASUREMENT
a)
Turn the dial to A
b)
Connect the black test lead to the COMT terminal
and the red one to the mAT+ terminal for maximum
measurement in the 200mA range.
current in the range between 200mA and 20A,
connect the red lead to the 20A terminal
c)
Touch the tested circuit with both probes.
d)
The measured value will be displayed on the LCD
screen. The polarity of the red probe and the current
value will be displayed.
Means that the maximum measurement of
the terminal will not exceed 200mA
Measurement in the 20A range should not be
longer than 10 for fear of increasing the risk of
overheating the leads.
3.3.4. AC MEASUREMENT
a)
Turn the dial to "A~"
b)
Connect the black test lead to the COMT terminal
and the red one to the mAT+ terminal for maximum
measurement in the 200mA range. To measure
current in the range between 200mA and 20A,
connect the red lead to the 20A terminal.
c)
Touch the tested circuit with both probes
d)
The measured value will be displayed on the LCD screen.
Means that the maximum measurement of
the terminal will not exceed 200mA
Measurement using the 20A terminal should
EN
not be longer than 10 for fear of increasing the
risk of overheating the leads.
3.3.5. RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT
a)
Turn the dial to Ω
b)
Connect the black test lead to the COMT terminal
and the red test lead to the VΩHz terminal.
c)
Touch the tested circuit with both probes
d)
The measured value will be displayed on the LCD
screen
The maximum reading is 500V rms <10sec
Please Note: If numbers 1 or -1 are shown on
the display, the measured value is out of the
selected range scale. Increase the measuring
range and try again.
To measure the resistance above 10M Ω, the
multimeter will need a moment to stabilize the
reading.
If the circuit is open, the multimeter displays "1"
or "-1".
During the measurement, make sure that the
circuit is disconnected from the power source
and that all capacitors are discharged.
3.3.6. CAPACITANCE MEASUREMENT
a)
Turn the dial to „F°"
b)
Connect the black test lead to the COMT terminal
and the red test lead to the VΩHz terminal.+
c)
Touch the tested circuit with both probes
d)
The measured value will be shown on the display.
The capacitors should be discharged before
capacitance is measured
3.3.7. TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
a)
Turn the dial to "°C"
b)
Connect the black senor to the COMT terminal and
the red sensor to the mAT+ terminal.
c)
Touch the area where the temperature will be
measured
d)
The measured value will be displayed on the LCD
screen
The thermocouple measurement limit is 250°C. To
measure higher temperatures, a probe adapted to
the higher temperature ranges should be used.
Be consistent when measuring the temperature.
To measure
3.3.8. FREQUENCY MEASUREMENT
a)
Turn the dial to 200kHz
b)
Connect the black test lead to the COMT terminal
and the red test lead to the VΩHz terminal.
c)
Touch the tested circuit with both probes
d)
The measured value will be shown on the display.
3.3.9. TESTING THE DIODE AND THE BEEP
a)
Turn the dial to
b)
Connect the black test lead to the COMT terminal
and the red test lead to the VΩHz terminal.
c)
Hook the measuring probes to the measured
diode, the display will show the value of the voltage
rounded up.
d)
When testing the audio signal, connect the test
probes to two points in the circuit. If the resistance
of the circuit is less than 50 Ω, the device will beep.
During the test, make sure that the circuit is
disconnected from the power source and that
all capacitors are discharged
3.3.10. TESTING THE HFE TRANSISTOR
a)
Turn the dial to „hFE"
b)
Determine whether it is an NPN or PNP transistor
and locate the emitter, base and collector leads.
Place the leads in the corresponding terminals on
the front panel
c)
The measured value will be shown on the display.
do not connect external voltage to the
measuring terminal
3.3.11. NON-CONTACT AC DETECTION
a)
Press and hold the "NCV" button, the meter will
enter the non-contact measurement mode. The
green LED will light up.
b)
Centre the device and then aim it at the tested circuit.
c)
If the circuit voltage does not exceed or equals 90 V
AC rms, a red and green light will come on and the
device will beep.
d)
To exit the NCV mode, release the "NCV" button
PLEASE NOTE: Use caution when determining the
presence of electrical voltage using the non-contact
measurement function to avoid electric shock. If the
multimeter does not detect the voltage, voltage may
still be present. Do not rely on the NCV function
while determining the presence of live wires.
When using a multimeter in NCV mode, avoid
any kind of electrical interference
