LINE CONNECTION
1 - Unravel the lines of your Bar.
3 - Connect the Back Lines of the Bar to the Back
Bridles of the Kite with an Larks Head Knot.
The Use of your Kite with that of a GONG KITE
BAR will avoid connection errors due to color
codes :
- Back Left Line Red to Back Bridle Line Red.
- Back Right Line Blue to Back Bridle Line Blue.
GOOD TO KNOW :
You may also connect the front lines on the knot that precedes the Red Ball on the Bridles for two reasons :
- You're over kited : by connecting the fronts on this
knot, you shrink the fronts in rapport with the back
Lines and lower the Kites power. This option allows
you to limit the trim during the session.
- With use, it will be the front lines that undergo
most of the tension of the Kite. In time, they can be
subjected to slight elongation. You can prolong the
life of your Lines by connecting the front lines on this
knot instead of the Ball.
EN
2 - Untangle them.
4 - Connect the Front Lines to the Front Grey Line
of the Kite. There is no Left/Right sense for the
front lines.
