• The effects provided by VIRTUAL THEATER A, B, and C sound fields may cause increased noise in the playback signal.
• When listening to the "VIRTUAL" sound fields, you will not be able to hear any sounds coming directly from the rear speakers.

Effect
Adds the 3D sound imaging of VIRTUAL SEMI-MULTI
DIMENSION to CINEMA STUDIO B. Reproduces the
sound characteristics of the "Kim Novak Theater" and
creates 5 sets of virtual speakers surrounding the
listener at a 30° angle of elevation from the sound of the
front speakers without using actual rear speakers.
Adds the 3D sound imaging of VIRTUAL SEMI-MULTI
DIMENSION to CINEMA STUDIO C. Reproduces the
sound characteristics of the scoring stage and creates
5 sets of virtual speakers surrounding the listener at a
30° angle of elevation from the sound of the front
speakers without using actual rear speakers.
Reproduces the acoustics of a small rectangular concert
hall.
Reproduces the acoustics of a large rectangular concert
hall.
Reproduces the acoustics of an opera house.

Obtains maximum audio impact from video game
software.
Outputs the sound from the front left and right
speakers only. Standard two channel (stereo) sources
completely bypass the sound field processing. Multi-
channel surround formats are downmixed to two
channels.
Automatically detects the type of audio signal being
input (Dolby Digital, DTS, MPEG, Dolby Pro Logic, or
standard 2-channel stereo) and performs the proper
decoding if necessary. This mode presents the sound as
it was recorded/encoded, without adding any effects.

Be sure to set the game machine to stereo
mode when using game software with
stereo sound capabilities.
This allows you to play any source using
only the front left and right speakers.
You can use this mode as a reference. Set
the equalizer to OFF while using this mode
to hear the source sound exactly as it was
recorded.
