Removing a cartridge

Close the cold water stopcock.

Open the stopcock for drawing manual AD water (if available), or:

Open the valve on the cartridge to release any pressure.

While doing this, water can escape which should be wiped up
with a cloth.
Unscrew the hoses.

Upend the cartridge to drain the residual water into a suitable out‐

let.
