10 Warranty
The warranty covers:
This warranty covers all material or manufacturing faults for your VIRAX crimper. In this case, the tool will be returned to you
without cost. Your tool will be repaired or replaced identically.
The warranty does not cover:
Faults due to incorrect use, abuse, failure to respect usage instructions, intervention on the machine by a person not
approved by an approved After Sales Service repair centre or normal wear are not covered by this warranty.
If the crimper reaches 20,000 crimping cycles during the warranty period, the user must send it to the After Sales Service.
This servicing is part of the crimper's normal life and is not covered by the warranty. The warranty is extended to the end of
the 2-year period.
VIRAX does not accept responsibility for damage incurred by accessories or caused to objects or people close to the
machine.
VIRAX may not be held liable for any damage caused by crimping performed with an insert or mini-jaw with a profile not
matching the coupling to crimp or tube used or by crimping on a faulty coupling or tube.
The M21+ crimper is designed to operate only with VIRAX mini-jaws. VIRAX waives any liability for any damage and
consequence resulting from the use of mini-jaws from other brands, or damage these clamps may cause to M21+.
Warranty period
The warranty period of your crimper is two years in normal conditions of use. Proof of purchase will be requested (invoice or
delivery bill).
Specifics of this warranty

to modify this warranty or to provide other warranties on behalf of VIRAX.
11 Inserts and crimping mini-jaws
11.1 Maintenance of inserts to crimp and mini-clamps
• Check regularly the state of the inserts, mini-jaws and main jaws. Check proper closing of the jaws.
• Clean the profiles of the inserts or mini-jaws. Do not use metal files or abrasive materials likely to damage the crimping
profile.
• Keep the crimping profile clean and check its wear before use.
• Lubricate regularly the axes and spring of your mini-jaws and main jaws.
• Do not lubricate inside the crimping profile.
• The inserts and mini-jaws are considered to be consumables. Replace them at the first signs of wear. Crimping with worn
inserts or mini-jaws may cause a leak.
