4.1 Precautions when using the crimper
▪ NEVER TRY TO ADJUST OR CHANGE
THE ACCESSORIES WITHOUT
DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY.
▪ DO NOT USE THE TOOL WHEN ITS
BATTERY IS DAMAGED.
• DO NOT INSERT YOUR FINGERS IN
THE JAW PROFILE.
• NEVER ATTEMPT TO REPAIR A
DAMAGED JAW.
• ALWAYS HOLD THE TOOL WITH BOTH
HANDS AND ENSURE YOUR BODY IS
IN A STABLE POSITION DURING WORK.
WARNING:
• Always stop the tool and disconnect the battery before any adjustment or maintenance operation.
• Apply any appropriate preventive safety measures and observe occupational health and safety rules.
▪ The manufacturer waives any liability in case of any modification of the machine by the client, as well as any
damage caused by modifications.

4.2 Battery and charger

In extreme situations, the battery may produce liquid ; avoid any contact. In the event of accidental contact, wash thoroughly
with water. In case of contact of the liquid with the eyes, call a physician immediately.
• Recharge the battery only using the charger supplied with the tool.
• Do not touch the charger's contacts.
• Do not expose the battery or the charger to rain or snow.
• Do not recharge your battery in a location that is exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do not recharge the battery in the presence of flammable liquids or gasses.
• Always use the charger in a temperature range between 5°C and 45°C.
• Ensure the ventilation slots are not obstructed.
• Disconnect the charger once charging finished.
• The batteries may be subject to leaks when damaged or used in bad conditions.
• To prevent short-circuits when the battery is neither on the machine nor charger, prevent contact between the battery and
metallic objects (nail, screw, etc.).
• Never use a damaged charger.
• Never use the charger if the lead or connector are damaged.
• Never use a damaged battery, change it immediately.
• Never attempt to disassemble the charger or battery.
• Never attempt to use the charger to recharge non rechargeable batteries.
• Never overload the battery.

4.3 Disposing of the batteries

• DO NOT DISASSEMBLE THE
BATTERY OR REMOVE ANY
COMPONENT PROTECTING THE
TERMINALS.
LI-ION BATTERIES MUST BE
COLLECTED, RECYCLED AND
DISPOSED USING ENVIRONMENTALLY
HEALTHY PRACTISES.

Omitting to disconnect the crimper battery before adjusting or
changing accessories may cause severe body injury.
A damaged battery increases the risk of electric shock.
Inserting fingers in the jaw profile may cause severe body injury.
An altered jaw may break under pressure during the crimping cycle.
Dispose and change the entire jaw.
Both hands are required to ensure the tool is guided properly.
When working in high locations, always check nobody is standing
below you.
This may cause a fire or injury. Before disposing the batteries,
protect the terminals exposed using thick insulating tape to prevent
short-circuits.
Most industrial supply distributors and supplies of office equipment
usually offer to collect and recycle batteries.
