5. Use ST/STP to activate the function you want.
6. Press RESET to reset the value displayed in the mode that is currently activated.
7. Hold RESET for 3 seconds to reset all modes with the exception of the clock. The LCD flashes once.
5. Setting the Clock, the Stride Length and your Weight
A. Setting the Clock
Press SET to make the digits on the LCD flash. Set the hours with ▲/H and the minutes with ▼/M. The digits will stop
flashing after ± 10 seconds.
B. Setting the Stride Length (only possible in distance mode)
Select the distance mode with the MODE button. The LCD now reads 0.00 and the ► symbol points towards KM.
Press STRI/WT so the LCD displays 0.75 (this is the default value for an individual weighing 110lbs).
Adjust the stride length with ▲/H or ▼/M. The device will display 0.00 again after ± 10 seconds. Your stride length has
now been set.
Remark : How to calculate your stride length
Walk or run 10 steps. Measure the distance from the toe of your first step to that of the tenth step. Divide the total
distance by 10 to calculate your average stride length.
C. Setting your Weight (only possible in calorie mode)
Select the calorie mode with the MODE button (display reads 000 00). Press STR/WT to display the weight currently
set. Adjust the weight with ▲/H or ▼/M. The display will read 000 00 again after ± 10 seconds. Your weight has now
been set.
6. Operating Instructions
a) Step Counter
Select step mode with the MODE button and press RESET (display reads 000 00). Activate the step counter with
ST/STP (▲ is displayed under START). Clip the device to your belt and go for your walk or jog. The device will keep
track of the number of strides you've made.
b) Distance Counter
Select distance mode with the MODE button and press RESET (display reads 0.00). Activate the distance counter with
ST/STP (▲ is displayed under START). Clip the device to your belt. The device will keep track of the distance you've
covered.
