A trickle charger for the starter and thruster battery
This provision makes is possible to charge both starter and bow prop batteries together
with the auxiliary battery if the latter is charged by a battery charger/inverter. A battery
charger/inverter can't be connected to the batteries in the same way as the alternator by
means of isolator diodes. During charging a current flows from the battery charger/invert-
er towards the battery while during inverter operation a current flows from the battery
towards the battery charger/inverter.
An alternator-charging monitor
An indication whether the alternator actually charges the battery whilst the is engine run-
ning.
