The proper functioning of the cartridge may be impaired by atmospheric conditions (humidity,
fog, wind, atmospheric pressure), and sometimes by near-located tall objects. In case of repeated
problems, it is necessary to ask for an expert opinion from a chimney sweep company or use a chimney
cowl (e.g. firefighter).
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE FIREPLACE STOVE
All repairs should be entrusted to an authorized installer and use spare parts of the cartridge manu-
facturer. Any changes to the construction, installation and use rules are not allowed without the ma-
nufacturer's written consent. All maintenance operations may be carried out only when the fireplace
stove is in a cooled condition, using protective gloves. The fireplace stove, flue pipe, connecting pipe
and chimney must be cleaned regularly.
In the event of a prolonged interruption in the operation of the fireplace stove, check the chimney
as it may have become clogged. Periodic or scheduled maintenance of the fireplace stove includes:
- Ash removal, windscreen cleaning, flue pipe cleaning;
- periodically clean the firebox of the fireplace stove (the frequency of this operation depends on the
type and humidity of the wood used);
- use a poker, scrapers, brush to clean cast iron components;
