Kratki.pl Marek Bal air fireplace inserts are convection heating devices which are classified as fixed fire-
places with manual loading of fuel and closed fire door. These fireplaces are designed to be enclosed or
built into a wall recess and are adapted to burn fuel in the form of deciduous tree wood. Our fireplace
inserts comply with the standard PN-EN13229:2002+A1:2005+A2:2006 and bear the CE marking. In
order to avoid the danger of fire, the fireplace should be installed in accordance with local building re-
gulations and the technical recommendations given in this manual. The design and installation of the
fireplace stove should be carried out by a professional or qualified person. Before putting the applian-
ce into operation, a protocol technical acceptance must be carried out, accompanied by an opinion
from the chimney sweep and a fire specialist.
SELECTION OF THE FIREPLACE STOVE
The producer only allows the use of leafy tree glades such as beech, hornbeam, oak, alder, birch, ash,
etc., with glades measuring approximately 30 cm in length and a circumference of approximately 30
cm to 50 cm. The moisture content of the wood used for tanning should not exceed 20%. The use of
logs with a higher moisture content may result in the cartridge not reaching the technical parameters
declared by the manufacturer. It is not recommended to use coniferous and ingested tree logs for the
device, which cause intensive burying of the device and the need to clean the device and the flue more
often. Minerals (e.g. coal), tropical wood (e.g. mahogany), bark, chemical products or liquid substances
such as oil, alcohol, gasoline, naphthalene, laminated boards, impregnated or pressed pieces of wood
bound with glue, garbage and other waste must not be burned in the cartridges.
INSTALLATION OF THE FIREPLACE STOVE
The installation of the fireplace stove must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the
standards in force in this area, the requirements of building law and the fire protection standards in
force in this area. Detailed regulations concerning construction safety, fire safety and safety of use are
contained in the regulations and building regulations in force in the country concerned. Installation
and start-up of the fireplace stove must be carried out by an installation company that has the ap-
propriate qualifications and experience for this purpose. The installer must confirm in the warranty
card the correct execution of the installation operations by signing and stamping the warranty. If this
requirement is not complied with, the Purchaser loses the right to claim the guarantee from the ma-
nufacturer of the fireplace stove.
