1. APPROVALS
In accordance with Directive 2014/68/UE (PED) and the regulations No. 812/2013 and
No. 814/2013 from Directive 2009/125/EC (ErP - Ecodesign requirements applicable to
energy-related products) and Directive 2010/30/EC (Product energy labelling), the technical
and heat loss characteristics, as well as the energy categories, are indicated on the labels
attached to the product and in the appendix to this manual. These labels must be considered
as an integral part of these usage instructions.

2. GENERAL

This document is intended for installers and end users. Consequently, after installing and
starting the machine, make sure you hand it over to the end user.
The inertial buffer tanks have two essential functions: hydraulic separation and thermal
flywheel.
• Hydraulic separation enables the generator's supply network (boiler or heat pump)
and the heating circuit, so that they are independent of each other.
• The thermal flywheel enables the number of generator starts per hour to be reduced,
which significantly increases the circuit's thermal inertia and stabilises the operating
temperature.
The buffer tanks for hot / cold water (primary tank and temperatures of -10 / +90 °C) are
intended for installations which operate all year round and which must store hot water in
winter and cold water in summer.
The use of inertial storage batteries other than those mentioned in this document frees the
manufacturer of all responsibility and invalidates the warranty.
The products described in this document have been manufactured according to the
directive 2014/68/UE (PED) relative to pressurised equipment which contains liquid and in
accordance with the operating conditions indicated for use.
Category identification
• The full range of Inertial tanks have been planned for the domain considered by the Art. 4.3
of the directive 2014/68/UE which are used to contain no dangerous liquid from the group
2, within the limits of working described in the Art. 4.3 of the Directive 2014/68/UE (PED).
Accordingly, such recipients are not subject to CE marking.
As stated in this di rective, the manufacturer guarantee that the manufacturing process is
correct according to the compa ny Environment & Quality System UNI EN ISO 9001 that
ensure a safety use as well as the identification of the manufacturer.
