version:
First pull off the 2 rubbers underneath the seat shell (Fig. 1d).
Remove the four screws (phillips) that are screwed into the seating shell of the
Defender Reha from below (Fig. 1e).
Hold the adapter plate against the underside of the seat so that the countersunk
bores in the plate are on the bottom and the wider end of the adapter plate is
up against the rear end of the seat (Fig. 2a). Screw the plate onto the seat with
the supplied longer screws (Fig. 1f).
Now position the seat at a 90° angle flush to the front of the turning plate (the
turning plate handle points forwards) and lower the seat onto the turning plate
so that it is held in place by the hook and loop strips. If you want to remove the
seat from the turning plate always do so by raising at the rear and tilting for-
wards. (Fig. 1b / 1g / 2c)
The turning plate is pre-assembled for mounting the car seat on the car's rear
right seat. (Safe insertion and removal of the child from the pavement side in
countries that drive on the right.) If the child's seat is positioned on the left side
of the rear seat the turning plate's pivotal point has to be changed. To do so,
simply move the Allen screw.
NOTE: The audible click into place of the turning plate only serves as an aid to
orientation for a straight positioning of the seat on the turning plate.
TRANSPORT: If transporting the seat with turning plate grasp the turning plate
with one hand by the front handle and hold the rear of the seat firmly in the
other hand. The seat and turning plate can also be transported separately if too
heavy.
FOOTREST: The footrest is mounted on the underside of the turning plate with
the adapter (location tubes).
