Our WALU POOL WOODSTAR cover carries a 3-year warranty, subject to
normal use (PVC membrane, aluminium profiles, stainless steel hooks,
adjustable fixing bracket, screws, straps and ratchet tighteners).
The mechanical parts and accessories (operating wheel, bungee cords,
plastic coping protectors, end caps) carry a 6-month warranty.
THE WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY
IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:
Incorrect assembly, failure to comply with the

installation instructions and resulting damage.
Mishandling or abnormal use and resulting
•
damage.
Normal wear and tear on the cover
•
components.
Wear due to rough, abrasive or bulging coping.

Excess snow load (10 cm maximum – see the

Technical Instructions)
High and very winds
•
Damage due to transport
•
Cleaning with products other than those
•
recommended (see Care Instructions)
Use of spare parts other than Walter original
•
parts
Drop in the water level
•
The warranty shall not apply if the cover is not installed strictly in
accordance with the Installation Instructions.
THIS WARRANTY COVERS ONLY
The replacement of parts and units acknowledged as defective, exclusive of any liability or compensation
whatsoever.
Any modification of the cover and use of spare parts other than those manufactured by WALTER shall
invalidate the warranty and render the cover non-compliant with the standard.
The warranty applies to installations performed in accordance with good professional practice, the
applicable standards and our technical instructions.
This warranty shall apply only after full payment of the invoice for the product concerned.
All covers concerned by a claim must be returned to us, carriage paid, subject to our prior

USE AND WARRANTY TERMS:
• As WALU POOL WOODSTAR covers are made to
measure, we cannot held be liable for any errors in the
dimensions or colour resulting from information
provided by the customer.
• The WALU POOL WOODSTAR cover must be
installed and used in accordance with the Installation
instructions delivered with the cover.
• All claims must be made by registered mail with
acknowledgment of receipt, and the equipment
concerned made available for examination by our
experts or those of our insurers.
• When returning a cover, enclose in the package:
- our After Sales form completed by the dealer.
• For the After Sales service, contact your dealer first.
No part will be exchanged before receiving defective
part.
