USING THE VACUUM

POWERING ON THE VACUUM
The vacuum utilizes a latching ON/OFF switch which
means that you do not need to keep the trigger
switch depressed to vacuum. Click the trigger
switch once to turn on or turn off the vacuum.
NORMAL MODE
The default power setting is the NORMAL MODE, which is recommended for the majority of
your cleaning needs. When using the vacuum in NORMAL MODE, the battery life is
approximately 30 minutes, depending on the accessories used and the floor surfaces that
are being vacuumed.
BOOST MODE
When the vacuum is ON, you can increase the suction power
and brushroll speed by clicking on the BOOST button. When
using the vacuum in BOOST MODE, the battery life is
approximately 15 minutes, depending on the accessories
used and the floor surfaces that are being vacuumed.

SELECTING THE RIGHT BRUSHROLL

Your Soniclean STV-1 Stick Vacuum includes three different brushroll technologies. Please
refer to the list below for more information on the recommended brushroll for various types
of flooring surfaces.
Microfiber Brushroll
Smooth Tile, Stone, Vinyl and Hard Wood Floors
Carpet Brushroll
Low Pile Carpet and Area Rugs
Hybrid Brushroll - Perfect for Pet Hair!
Hard Floors (great for floors with grout lines) and Ultra-Low Pile Carpet and Area Rugs
NOTE: Before vacuuming delicate area rugs or carpet, refer to the carpet
manufacturer's recommended cleaning instructions.

EMPTYING THE DUST BIN

1 Once the dirt in the dust bin reaches the MAX line, the vacuum needs to be emptied.
DO NOT fill up the vacuum's dust bin beyond the MAX line.
Before emptying/cleaning the dust bin, be sure that the vacuum is turned off.

To make emptying the dust bin easier, we recommend that the wand and

attachments are disconnected from the vacuum.
Empty the dust bin by pressing the dust bin release button (shown below).

REMOVING THE DUST BIN

1 Before removing the dust bin, be sure that the vacuum is turned off and disconnect the
wand and attachments.
2 Press the dust bin release button and carefully remove the dust bin from the vacuum
