5. SAFETY NOTE

Keep hands and tools clean as oil and grease can cause an explosion in con-
tact with oxygen.
Follow the instructions provided by the blowpipe or torch manufacturer.
Ensure there are no gas leaks in equipment, hoses and joints, and that threads
and seals are in good condition.
FBA is a safety device. If there is any doubt that it is not in a fully working con-
dition, then it should be replaced.
FBA has no serviceable parts and is sealed by the manufacturer. It should
therefore not be disassembled or tampered with in any way.
6. WASTE MANAGEMENT
At the end of the product's life time, the product must be withdrawn from service.
The owner of the device shall prevent the reuse of the product and handle
the product in compliance with "Directive of European Parliament and Council
2008/98/EC on waste".
In accordance to Article 33 of REACH GCE, s.r.o. as responsible manufacturer
shall inform all customers if materials containing 0.1% or more of substances
included in the list of Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC). The most com-
monly used brass alloys used for bodies and other brass components contain
2-3% of lead (Pb), EC no. 231-468-6, CAS no. 7439-92-1. The lead will not be
released to the gas or surrounding environment during normal use. After end
of life the product shall be scrapped by an authorized metal recycler to ensure
effi cient material handling with minimal impact to environment and health. To
date we have no information that indicates that other materials containing SVHC
of concentrations exceeding 0.1% are included in any GCE product.
7. WARRANTY
24 months from the date of delivery. To claim, proof of purchase with valid pur-
chase receipt is required. GCE is obliged to exchange the product within one
month from the date of return of the product. The liability of the product for the
use with industrial gases is irrevocably transferred to the owner or operator to
the extent that it is modifi ed, serviced or repaired by personnel not employed or
authorised by GCE or if the apparatus is used in a manner not conforming to its
intended use. GCE cannot be held responsible for the misuse of the equipment
in case of failure to comply with the instructions for use.
