Practical Advice
Marking
You can mark the height of the laser beam using the centre mark (10) on the left and
right of the measuring tool when the beam runs through the centre of the reception field
(5).
Ensure that the measuring tool is aligned perfectly vertically (when using a horizontal
laser beam) or horizontally (when using a vertical laser beam) when marking as the
marks will otherwise be offset from the laser beam.
Attaching using a magnet (see figure B)
If an attachment is not required to be especially secure, then the measuring tool can be
attached to steel parts using the magnets (7).
Maintenance and Service
Maintenance and Cleaning
Keep the measuring tool clean at all times.
Never immerse the measuring tool in water or other liquids.
Wipe off any dirt using a damp, soft cloth. Do not use any detergents or solvents.
